We will get to know you by asking about your medical history, current symptoms, and any previous treatments. Therapy sessions offer a safe, confidential space to discuss your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Depending on your needs, therapy can involve exploring past experiences, learning coping skills, or addressing specific concerns. We aim to work collaboratively with you, offering guidance and support as you navigate your mental health journey. Every session is tailored to you, and progress may look different for everyone.
The length of your appointment can vary. Initial psychiatric evaluations typically last between 45 to 60 minutes. Follow-up appointments are often shorter, around 15 to 25 minutes. Therapy sessions generally last between 45 and 55 minutes. We’ll let you know, in advance, how long to expect your session to be so you can plan accordingly.
If you need to cancel an appointment, contact our office as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment. We request at least 24 hours' notice to avoid any cancellation fees. Call us at 844-425-9777 or use our online portal to manage your appointments.
A psychiatric nurse practitioner is a licensed medical professional who can diagnose mental health conditions, prescribe medications, and manage treatment. A therapist, on the other hand, focuses on talk therapy and helps patients process emotions, develop coping strategies, and work on personal growth. We accept a variety of insurance plans to make our services as accessible as possible. Please contact our office directly or check our website for a full list of accepted insurance providers. If you don’t see your insurance listed, reach out to us, and we’ll be happy to explore other payment options with you.
If you’re running low on your medication, please contact our office as soon as possible. We’ll work with you to ensure you receive a refill or schedule a follow-up appointment if that is what’s is required. It’s essential not to stop or alter your medication without consulting your provider, as this can impact your treatment.
